U.S. POSTAL INSPECTION SERVICE
The US Postal Inspection Service is the federal law enforcement arm of the US Postal Service. Postal Inspectors enforce more than 200 federal laws covering
investigations of crimes that adversely affect or fraudulently use the U.S. Mail and postal system. The mission of the United States Postal Inspection Service is to protect the U.S. Postal Service, its employees and its customers
from criminal attack, and protect the nation's mail system from criminal misuse. The Postal Inspection Service is the lead agency for the
task force, providing office space, equipment, and support personnel to member agencies.

SALEM POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Salem Police Department is a modern, well trained and well equipped organization dedicated to the delivery of the highest possible quality protective service to Salem's citizens and guests. Since September 1997 the Department
has held the prestigious status of accreditation under the auspices of the Virginia Law Enforcement Professional Standards Commission (VLEPSC). This achievement represents a milestone in the history of the Salem Police Department as
practically every employee contributed in some manner to the success that is represented in achieving agency accreditation.

The Secret Service was established as a law enforcement agency in 1865. Investigative responsibilities have expanded to include crimes that involve
financial institution fraud, computer and telecommunications fraud, false identification documents, access device fraud, advance fee fraud,

VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL
Serving as the Commonwealth's law firm, the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia represents the Commonwealth in
any actions brought against it or its agencies. Additionally, the Office conducts or assists in criminal investigations
and prosecutions of organized crime and public corruption, computer crime, money laundering, identity theft, environmental
crime, and Medicaid fraud, as well as enforces state laws protecting businesses and consumers. The Attorney General

The Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) is the criminal investigative arm of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense. DCIS devotes investigative
resources to: Terrorism, Product Substitution, Computer Crimes, Illegal Technology Transfers, and Public Corruption.

FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is the investigative arm of the US Department of Justice. Our mission is
to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States,
and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners.

INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE - CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS
In support of the overall IRS Mission, Criminal Investigation serves the American public by investigating potential criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Code and related financial crimes in a manner that fosters
confidence in the tax system and compliance with the law. While other federal agencies also have investigative jurisdiction for money laundering and some bank secrecy act violations, IRS is the only federal agency that
can investigate potential criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Code.

U.S. SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION-OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL
The Social Security Administration (SSA), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Office of Investigations (OI) conducts and
]coordinates investigative activity related to fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement of SSA programs and operations.
These activities include wrongdoing by applicants, beneficiaries, contractors, physicians, interpreters, representative
payees, third parties, and SSA employees. The Office of Investigations also conducts joint investigations with other
Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies.

U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT
Our mission is to protect America and uphold public safety. We fulfill this mission by identifying criminal activities and eliminating vulnerabilities that pose a threat to
our nation’s borders, as well as enforcing economic, transportation and infrastructure security. By protecting our national and border security, ICE seeks to eliminate the potential
threat of terrorist acts against the United States.

VA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES-LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES
DMV Law Enforcement Services (LES) enforces and administers the laws of the Commonwealth, with special emphasis on DMV-related matters. LES investigates all complaints against dealers, including those
licensed by the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board, which allege a violation of criminal law. Typical investigations include: driver license and title fraud, odometer fraud, misuse of dealer plates and temporary tags,
curbstoning, sales and use tax evasion, and motor vehicle theft. In addition, Agents regulate all of the dealers licensed by DMV to ensure continued compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including conducting
opening, closing, and routine inspections of business locations and records. LES also conducts the required physical examinations of salvage vehicles and installs DMV-issued VIN plates. All DMV Special Agents are sworn
police officers, with powers of arrest.
