Equally as important as the investigation and prosecution of those who commit financial and identity theft crimes is the education and awareness that the task force provides to those who may potentially become victims.

In an effort to educate the public and raise awareness, the task force is available for presentations to groups and organizations throughout the Roanoke Valley area. The presentations can be tailored to accomodate your time and group size. Along with several multimedia pieces, the task force will distribute literature and brochures to your attendees.

To request a presentation or to receive more information, you can download the presentation request form here, complete it, and fax your request to (804) 418-6198, or you can email us at info@roanokefinancialcrimes.com. In your e-mail request, please be sure to include the following information: date, time, location of presentation, a contact name and number for your group, the length of the presentation, number of people attending, and a list of any audio / visual equipment that you may be able to provide.
